Thomas is the main protagonist of The Thomas and Friends Series, he is a little blue tank engine who lives and works on the Island of Sodor, and is the North Western Railway's number 1 engine. He is one of Sodor's most popular/famous engines. Thomas is an LB&SCR Class E2 0-6-0T. Thomas is one of the second batch of E2's built in 1915 with extended sidetanks. Thomas is colored cerulean-blue with red lining on his tanks and boiler and yellow lining around his windows. His number (1) is painted on his side tanks in yellow with a red outline. He has a red running board with it's top painted dark-gray. Thomas is described as being a cheeky engine. He often gets into scrapes, usually by being over-eager to do things best left to bigger and more sensible engines. But clouds never last long in Thomas' life and he is soon bustling about again, playing his part in the yard and on his very own branchline, of which he is extremely proud. He loves unintentionally teasing the others, especially the bigger engines, such as Gordon, which started the once hatred-filled rivalry between them both. On occasion, Thomas brags about his superiority, but is always brought down to earth in due course by anyone willing to correct him, especially the Fat Controller and his two coaches, Annie and Clarabel. Thomas is sometimes forgetful and rather impatient. However, he is also bright, cheerful, optimistic, idealistic, altruistic, kind-hearted, supportive and helpful. A friend to all engines and a popular member of the Fat Controller's railway, Thomas is No.1 and does his best every day to live up to that through helping his friends and those that he cares about. He lives to be a Really Useful Engine and encourages everyone else to do the same. He likes to be better than James and Bertie in races. Zayden is one of The North Western Railway Engines on The Island Of Sodor despite not being a canon Thomas character. . Zayden is a Midland Railway Class 2501 2-6-0 Mogul Tender Engine. . More about Zayden: Zayden was built by Baldwin Locomotive Works in The USA in 1899 as the 1st member of The Midland Railway Class 2501 2-6-0 Tender Engines to exist. He was built for service in The UK due to Derby Works reaching their capacity at the time, thus were unable to build more engines. . After all 30 Midland Railway Class 2501's were built. Zayden, along with his other 29 siblings, were shipped to the UK to work on The Midland Railway. Their cowcatchers, bells, and buckeye couplers were removed, and were replaced with chain couplers and buffers from both front running board and back of their tenders' running board. . On The Midland Railway, Zayden loved pulling goods trains, but hated pulling passenger trains, he kept making mistakes when pulling passengers due to not being built for the job. . So in 1907, The Midland Railway decided to get rid of him by selling him to an unknown owner of The Coal Plant Factory from The Island Of Sodor. . On Sodor, Zayden pulled loads of coal trucks, often delivering them to the coal hopper for the trucks to be emptied and reloaded again. . But then, fate struck... . In 1947, things went downhill for both Zayden and The Coal Plant Factory. . The Factory's business was going down, so they had no other way but to shut down the whole business. As for Zayden? He did NOT have a good ending for now, until 1970. . In 1970, when Sir Topham Hatt found the old Coal Plant Factory, he discovered Zayden. He couldn't pass the opportunity, so he decided to restore Zayden and the coal plant. And so, Zayden was restored back to service on Sodor and was repainted in NWR green with red stripes and with the number 33 painted in yellow with red lining on his tender's sides.

Leafy is a female contestant in BFDI, IDFB, and BFB. In Battle for Dream Island, Leafy competed on the Squashy Grapes and was the team captain until the merge in "A Leg Up in the Race". She made it to the finals and ended up receiving 236 votes to win Dream Island, which wasn't enough to win the season, with her placing 2nd overall. She then, however, bought Dream Island off the Announcer, stealing it from Firey and causing the island to disappear, the reason why she stole Dream Island is because Firey didn't allow her into Dream Island due to Leafy rejecting his ferris wheel that had a LITERAL LAVA WATERFALL. Appearance: Leafy is a leaf with a green body and a line that is a lighter color. She has a darker shade of green on her right side; however, the shade is sometimes seen on the left. Her metal form is composed of shades of gray with an off-white highlight on the upper left side of her body. Personality: Leafy has a complex personality, being both caring and impulsive. She’s resourceful and optimistic, often finding solutions in challenges and trying to stay positive in tough situations. She wants to bring out the best in others, especially Firey, and looks for connections with people. However, despite her good qualities, Leafy struggles with insecurities. She makes mistakes and sometimes gets frustrated, like when she tries to get the voters to eliminate Lollipop for not wanting to talk to her in "X Marks the Spot". While she tries to stay positive and build relationships, she doesn’t always recognize her flaws, resulting in her reacting poorly to criticism. Her past, especially her regret over stealing Dream Island, affects how she acts around others. Still, her efforts to improve herself and make amends with Firey show that (as seen in BFB 22) she values personal growth and meaningful relationships.

Henry is a big green mixed-traffic tender engine who lives and works on the Island of Sodor, and is the North Western Railway's number 3 engine. . Biography: Henry was built from drawings stolen from The GNR in 1919 by a thief who held a grudge against The GNR. The spy took the wrong drawing. Instead of the new A1 locomotives that Gresley was designing at the time, with the prototype of the A1 Class being Gordon, the thief ended up with plans that had been rejected early on. The mistake was realised too late, and Henry was built with many resulting flaws. One of these flaws was a small firebox, making Henry unreliable. The thief was delighted to sell Henry to the first desperate customer who came along - Sir Topham Hatt. He had intended to buy a GCR 4-4-2 but was scammed and Henry was purchased instead. Henry arrived on Sodor and bought by Sir Topham Hatt for The North Western Railway in 1922, and as the railway was facing a motive power crisis. Sir Topham Hatt had no choice but to keep Henry. In 1935, when the Welsh coal came, Henry's performance improved. He continued to use it until he had an accident near Killdane when pulling the Flying Kipper and was sent to Crewe to be rebuilt in 1935. Henry was rebuilt into an LMS Black 5. And returned after his rebuild. . Basis: Henry was based on The rejected GNR Class A0, but he was then rebuilt into an LMS Black 5 after The Flying Kipper Incident in 1935. Henry is painted in the standard green livery used by the NWR, with red and yellow lining. His number (3) is painted on his tender in yellow with a red outline. He has a black running board with gray buffers. . Personality: Henry is generally well-behaved and friendly but is sometimes arrogant, stubborn and rude. At heart, Henry is a very hard worker, but his frequent bouts of illness before his rebuild hindered his work. But nlike Gordon and James, Henry does not mind pulling trucks.

Coiny is a Male contestant in BFDI, BFDIA, IDFB, BFB, and TPOT. Coiny is a Golden-Orange Copper Coin. His body is a bright copper-orange color. Between BFDI and BFDIA, his edges were rounded to make him a perfect circle. in BFDI, Coiny competed on the Squashy Grapes until "Insectophobe's Nightmare", when he joined Another Name. Coiny was then eliminated with 30 votes because Tennis Ball was picked onto the Squashy Grapes instead of him, placing 16th overall. In BFDIA, Coiny joined the season with 334 votes, being placed 14th to join the season. Coiny competed on W.O.A.H. Bunch until "Taste the Sweetness" when he switched to The Beautiful Face Devotion Institute, and switched back to W.O.A.H. Bunch, he teamed up in a duo with Pin, and in BFDIA 15, he teamed up in a trio with Pencil and Fries, named The Hearts. Coiny swapped back to W.O.A.H. Bunch until its disbandment in BFDIA 18. In IDFB, Coiny is currently free due to not being eliminated before BFDIA 7. In BFB, Coiny competed on The Losers! until the split in BFB 16 where he left the show to compete on 2's show. In BFDI:TPOT, Coiny competed on Team8's until in TPOT 9 where he was eliminated with 4,870 votes. He originally placed 30th overall. However, due to Pencil and Liy joining in TPOT 13, he ended up placing 32nd overall.

He is extremely loyal, and would even resort to somewhat extreme means to make a difference in someone's day (i.e. He blackmailed Zoey to get Milly's diary entry back from her.) Overall, he's actually a very misunderstood individual at the beggining, through all the first season he redeems himself from his past wrongdoings and proves that he is a very good friend and person.
