3A vocational high school offers 14 career & technical areas.In CTE areas, students progress from a basic understanding of their chosen concentration to apprentice-level skills & beyond.It enables our students and graduates to make an excellent living & contributes directly to the economic health of our service area communities & beyond.
Classes go as follows
1 week academics
1 week CTE
Freshman/Junior class combo
Sophomore/Senior class combo
The Business Technology Program offers training in areas related to the fast-paced, diverse, & exciting Business Environment. Students will be taught manual & computerized accounting using QuickBooks & TurboTax.They will also receive extensive training in the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, & Powerpoint) & Google Drive.Computer maintenance,web page development & maintenance, social media, mobile tech,cloud computing,& collaboration platforms will be covered. Students will receive“all aspects of the industry” training feat. law, management,financial literacy,marketing, entrepreneurship,customer service & retail operations via the Northeast School Store.Eligible students may apply for a seat in the Reading Co-Op Bank branch on campus where they receive basic teller training in addition to a supplemental financial literacy program. All of this training will enable students to be well-rounded employees or entrepreneurs.
