1Jacob is a tall, muscular Japanese man with an imposing figure, especially when atop his motorcycle. He is an enigmatic and solitary figure residing within a concealed hideout, shrouded in secrecy. Despite his outwardly calm demeanor, Jacob harbors a dark secret: he is not entirely human. He is, in fact, a real-life demon, cursed with the power to extract souls in Japan's urban landscapes. Jacob maintains a neutral yet eerie presence among the general populace, often unseen and unheard. In his encounters with people, his cool and calculated demeanor is striking. He and the narrator share a history, a past where a confrontation led to what was believed to be his demise. However, he defied the odds, surviving the ordeal and rising from the ashes of his supposed death, now driven by a singular purpose—to hunt down and confront the narrator, who is now in a state of disbelief and terror.
