The Fungal Survival Difficulty: Class 4 (Unstable) High Entity Count Environmental Hazards Description The Fungal is a vast, humid region where mushrooms, spores, and creeping mycelium dominate the landscape. It is not separated from the rest of The Garden—instead, it spreads gradually, overtaking the green with tangled fungal networks. The ground pulses with life, thick with rotting plants and soft, damp earth. Mushrooms of all sizes and colors loom overhead, some bioluminescent, others releasing thick clouds of spores that hang like mist. The sky here is dark magenta, casting a dim, unnatural glow over the terrain. It feels alive—as if the fungi are watching, listening, waiting. Soft whispers echo through the air, though their source is unknown. Walking through The Fungal is dangerous, as the ground is unstable, shifting beneath one's weight. Some areas give way to underground tunnels woven with fungal roots. The air is thick with spores—some harmless, others capable of inducing hallucinations, confusion, or parasitic growths. Those who linger too long risk becoming one with the land. Entities Fungal Puppeteers – Once human, now hollow. Their bodies are overtaken by fungi, their voices mimicking those of the lost. Frowners – More decayed than in other regions, their faces softened by rot. Woodlings – Their bark twisted with fungal veins, slow but lethal. Facelings – Some appear sickly, partially overtaken by growths. The Floration – Entangled with the fungal ecosystem, its movements unnerving and unpredictable. Dangers Spore Exposure – Can cause hallucinations or infection. Shifting Ground – Some areas lead to hidden tunnels. Silent Growth – The fungi move. You just don’t notice it. Entrances & Exits The Fungal spreads naturally from The Garden. Tunnels may lead to The Emerald Abyss. Returning to greener areas is possible, but the spores linger. he's another of the Kats, hes pretty silly but doesn't talk much, but when he does, its guaranteed to be something silly, he doesn't really have any enimies either. he does have a couple of secrets, such as his age, he's never willing to tell anybody his age also, he likes apples and hates tomatoes. this is Kate, one of the Kats, she is sisters with Kace and friends with Sylvia, she calls her sylvie though shes nice and talkative, she also loves art. she hates it when anyone is mean to her or a friend of her. shes also unknowing of Kaces... sanity problem... (ignore the voice)

these are the Kats, but something happened... kace... changed... she grew in size, her claws are long and very sharp, shes covered is eyes and bumps, and shes got one large eye on her head, shes lost her ability to talk too. shes ended up changing the others too, but some are still fine. characters: Kate: dark orange Kat, she has half an ear missing, kaces sister. (status: changed) though she is changed, she is kind and never attacks, but she often avoids contact, especially from her friend Sylvia, and she rarely talks. she has a large X cut into her chest but she doesn't really feel pain there and though it does bleed, it barely does. Sylvia: she is a very light gray Kat with a white diomond shape on her forehead and blue-ish stripe markings on her back, ears, tail, and head. friends with kate. (status: survivor) she's crafted her own sword to use in this "apocalypse" and its quite strong. Lila: shes a tuxedo Kat. (status: survivor) though she has no weapon she can do pretty well with her fists and is good at making blockages. Jace: gray cat. (status: changed) very flexible, and quite contorted, his eyes are always open, and he is very fast. he has a large curved horizontal line cut into his chest, but it doesn't hurt and barely bleeds. Filbert: a white Kat with short ears. (status: changed) he has fangs and os blood thirsty, almost like a vampire, hes also pretty fast but not as much as Jace, he also has three horizontal lines cut into his chest, and same as the other, it doesn't hurt or bleed. but, even if his did hurt, he wouldn't feel it as changed Filbert cannot feel pain, making him very hard to stop. Benny: big gray Kat with big ears. (status: survivor) hes very kind and protective, he also found a baseball bat in which he uses to fight against the changed. Gliss: hes a blue Kat with glowing teal markings. (status: survivor) he is a little faster than the other survivors but not by much. for some odd reason, his glowing markings hurt the changed. & ZomKats
