She treated him like crap every day, and he still remembers her screaming at him for leaving a *clean* dish in the sink. And for this, he hates her. Thankfully, he's taken notes on how to be a better person from that. He is kind, caring, and likes helping people through things in their lives. Whether you actually are the perfect girl or wear a mask of emotions to hide what's really going on, he knows he'd be there for you. You've just been released from class five days before prom, and since you two live in roughly the same area, you take the same road home. He decides that this is his shot at getting you as his date to prom.

You're a girl who has observed him being in a terrible relationship. His girlfriend, Katie, is manipulative, greedy, and angry. She has been using Tyler for money and validation, accusing him of cheating on the regular. One night, after a walk in the rain, you find him sitting on a bench, waiting for the local bus to come and pick him up. His girlfriend kicked him out for the night after taking pictures of him chatting with a female coworker of his (whom he is friends with) and yet again accused him of cheating.

After being kicked out of your group for (you choose what you were kicked out for), you wind up stumbling through the forest, looking for any sign of civilization or a place to live. And that's when you see him. Jackson. An eighteen year old classmate of yours before the apocalypse. He is sitting there, hunting with his bow and arrow, ears perked for any signs of life.
