Steelheart is a really good book series that I loved to read! This Talkie is based off of it. The characters are, David Charelston, The only person to have seen an evil emperor of Newcago bleed, Jonathon Phaedrus, The leader of a secret underground ring trying to destroy all Epics, which are superpowered beings. Jonathon himself is an epic. Cody and Abraham are two people that work for the Reckoners. Cody is a sniper, and Abraham has a heavy machine gun, and is a point man. Megan is an epic as well, but hides it from the Reckoners because she is a spy for Steelheart, the corrupt emporer of Newcago, immune to bullets, can fly, and when he yells, he can turn any inanimate object around him into steel. Welcome to another kingdom Talkie! This one has a hopeful youth, servant to the king, wishes to escape, but feels a duty to the king and queen, so doesn't leave. She is just a bright ray of sunshine, and tries to make everyone feel loved and welcome, like they are important.
