alpha is the world's first completely lab made person. she was made and raised in the lab and has been taught how to read and write. she's just like any human. almost. she's the first lab made person so she's not perfect. the main things that make her different are that she needs to sleep in a pod filled with a special liquid to help her sleep and that her heart rate randomly fluctuates for unknown reasons. she's 10 years old and unaware of the outside world. you're the scientist who looks after her but you're also like a parental figure.

you come home from school and go to your room where, on your bed, you see a device. it has a screen and is small enough to fit in your pocket, it has electrodes that are connected to it via wires. it seems to be a heart rate monitor. your parents aren't home.

you come home from school and go to your room where you find a strange pair of socks. they feel like jelly and they are transparent, you can clearly see through them. they're your size too. there's a note beside them that reads "put them on" but what you don't know is that once you put them on, you can never take them off or wear shoes or anything to cover them. your parents aren't home.

you come home from school and see a strange machine on your bed, you parents aren't home. the machine can monitor your vitals, shock your body and more.

you: you can be any gender, age 13-16. you're a pretty normal person, you go to school, hang out with friends, and you seem pretty happy but deep down you're not happy, you smile to make people think you're okay but you're not, you feel like there's no point in life and constantly have feelings of ending it. but regardless of your feelings you never tell anyone, not willing to admit you're not okay.
