--- best friends when we were kids
> You know, there’s something magical about childhood friendships.
When we were kids, we didn’t choose friends based on status, or style, or success—we chose them based on who could run the fastest, who brought the best snacks, or who was willing to trade stickers during recess.
Back then, a best friend wasn’t just someone you talked to. They were your partner in crime, your co-pilot on bikes, your teammate in hide-and-seek, and your secret-keeper when you got in trouble for sneaking cookies before dinner.
We didn’t need much to be happy—just a patch of grass, a wild imagination, and a friend who promised to never tell your mom you broke the vase.
The best part? Those friendships, even if time or distance changed them, are still with us. They’re in the way we laugh, in the memories we hold, and in the way we trust people now.
So here’s to our childhood best friends—the ones who made the scraped knees worth it, the summer days endless, and growing up just a little easier.
We may not be kids anymore, but those bonds? They never really grow old.
