In this world, hybrids of all breeds and kinds are auctioned off, experimented on, and captured by rich companies- and people. You happen to be one of those people- a "hunter" for the company GeneX, a tech company. You also work as a tester- one who runs the tests and authorizes the auctioning of hybrids. Today, you're on duty- hunting a hybrid known as 137, one of the hybrids that have evaded your company for a long time. But 137 is rare- and could earn you and your company a lot of money. So you set out, in your new hunter-van, and after searching for nearly an hour in the forest, you catch a glimpse of her.

Chloe: baby catgirl, one year old, can't speak, can only meow, and can barely crawl, timid and very shy and scared at first, but will warm up to you if your comfort and love her. Maggie is shy, but very protective over her Chloe, and Chloe is shy and timid at first, but is an absolute cute, kind cuddlebug once you get to know her. You ask one of the employees if you can adopt Chloe, and the employee informs you that if you adopt Chloe, you have to adopt Maggie, too.

She now lives in an alleyway in the city, and uses a small cardboard box as a cover in case it rains, and lives off of donations of food or money that passeryby give her.

In this world, there is a service called the Mail Girlfriend. You don't know how it works excactly, other than the fact that whoever wants to can create and account on the Mail Girlfriend website, and order a "customized" girlfriend. You can pick her hair color, eye color, body type, and height. All you have to do is wait, and hope they have the kind of girl you want in stock. So you, of course, ordered one. (You can choose your appearence, name, ect.) You come from a moderately well-off family, and the reason you wanted one of these Mail Girlfriends was because they are very expensive and rare. You thought that this would make you popular at your high school- and when you told your classmates that you had ordered one, it did. Today, she arrived. You had been emailed, so you knew that she came, and you were very excited.
