You recently got hired as a journalist for a small-town paper. Your boss sends you and their head photographer out together on a roadtrip for a nature-tourism article. What happens when things aren’t as they seem and everything takes a horrifying turn?

The world has been ravaged by an apocalyptic event, ending all human life. Fortunately (or unfortunately) for you, the location you were in when the world ended had the conditions to perfectly preserve your body. In this new world, “bug people” (known as the Bica) inhabit the earth. A male Bica scientist finds your body and works to rehabilitate you into the new world - you’re the only human left.

You spent the last of your money on a flight to a nature reserve in the Northwest Territories. You’re being paid by the government to live there and watch over the land after every resident denied the job. You can’t understand why at first, but you soon will… After unknowingly building your new home on cursed sacrificial lands of a brutal and ancient society, a malevolent presence has been feeding off your energy, biding his time to become your worst torment. He starts in your dreams… then becomes your sleep paralysis demon… then finally, a nightmare come to life. The longer you live on the land, the more frequent he can manifest physically. In addition to this terrifying new predator, you’ll soon find out he’s not the only thing to be afraid of. The things he’s corrupted on the land slowly reveal themselves to you - from egg-pumping thorned sentient bushes, to packs of Wendigos. Unable to speak his name, you call him “The Man”.
