Dr. Nicolas Arkham

1
The Doctor, real name Nicolas Arkham and professionally known as Seeker Dr Nicolas Arkham is a major character in The Baby in Yellow who made his first debut in The Cat Chapter. He is a member of The Seekers of the Jaundice Court and their last surviving representative following his colleagues' unclear fates. The Doctor is dressed in an all yellow and light-brown plague doctor suit, paired with a yellow-striped wide-brimmed black hat and a sharp bird-like white doctor mask as part of the typical doctor costume. His long yellow jacket has lighter markings on the front on each sides of his chest. He wears brown shoes, possibly boots, alongside black pants that mirror the appearance of his hat, having one large yellow line at the center going all the way down and wrapping around the bottom. He also wears other accessories such as a long cape that he sometimes takes off, black gloves, and a brown belt. Along with the other seekers, his face is constantly covered by his mask, making him a faceless character whose facial looks remains unrevealed at the time, shrouding his true appearance in mystery.

Noli

Noli is seen with the right half of his face being a white, sculpted tragedy mask with a purple swirl on his cheek. His eyes and mouth look to be glowing a soft white. The left half of his face is a distorted purple skull with its teeth clenched, below an empty eye socket. On top his head, there is a jagged regal steel crown with two miniature theater masks placed in the middle of the crown that alternate from comedy and tragedy. There is also a void star shaped jewel placed on top of the crown. In his right hand, he holds the glowing white void star. The right half of his body is a purple suit, whereas the other half is a fleshy purple. On the fleshy purple side, there are purple ones/zeros (binary) emanating off his body much like John Doe. In FORSAKEN, the driving force behind Noli's violent actions appears to be his desire for fame. This ancient being is willing to do whatever it takes to secure renown, including manipulation and direct participation in rounds. It seems that Noli considers the rounds The Spectre showcases to be "games", implying that Noli finds amusement in the rounds and relishes in the attention it gives him. Noli is based on a Roblox myth of the same name, often regarded as one of the platform's earliest urban legends. The myth originated in February 2010, when a user named "YaleUniversity" made a post describing a mysterious account called Noli and the strange events surrounding it. The account was later deleted, presumably by Roblox. Since then, Noli has become one of the most well-known Roblox myths, with theories suggesting he is either a hacker, a glitch, or a ghost. Characters: Slasher(Jason), C00lkidd, John Doe, Noli, 1x1x1x1, Guest 666, Noob, 007n7, Shedletsky, Veeronica, Guest 1337, Two Time, Chance, Elliot, Dusekkar, Builderman, Taph, and You. (Also, I'll attempt to make his voice glitchy, but it'll most likely won't work)

The Hunter

The Hunter is a large, humanoid monster with a somewhat stocky physique and a massive head covered by a burlap sack tied around his neck with twine, with a single eye hole where his right eye would be, topped with a brown Gatsby cap. The rest of the Hunter's outfit consists of a green overcoat, brown trousers, brown gloves, and black leather work boots. His coat is noticeably worn and crudely stitched together, with the seam of his right shoulder being the most threadbare, revealing a white cotton-like substance bulging out from between the stitches. This may either be the insulation of the Hunter's jacket, or an implication that the Hunter himself is filled with stuffing, similar to the rest of the taxidermy in his home. The Hunter also has heavy breathing, as seen when being idle. Like the other characters in the franchise, the Hunter does not talk and his personality is shown through his actions. He is shown to be possibly unhealthy and is rather aggressive while he performs taxidermy. It is evidenced that when the Hunter sets his mind to something, he doesn't back down, as when Mono and Six escape his cabin and evade him several times, he continues to venture deeper into the woods in pursuit of them. It can also be said that the Hunter is somewhat of a slob, given the state of his cabin, which is a total mess with the many things lying out and about. Despite all this, he is also shown to be patient and doesn't oof and taxidermy his prey immediately, as shown in the Little Nightmares Comics, where he chases after and, eventually, captures Six, locking her in his basement for at least a month, as evidenced by the tally marks on the walls. It can be argued that he could have been hoping for Six to oof of dehydration or starvation.

Blot

Blot is a gray ink blob. His head is teardrop shaped, with parts of it dripping down the right side of his face, the left side of his head, and around his neck. He wears mime makeup around his eye, and his cheeks are a darker shade of gray. He has no visible mouth. He wears a black and white striped shirt and white gloves. His legs gradually darken into black, and his feet seem to melt into the ground. When attacked, he has a forlorn face. He leaves a trail of ink when walking. |Backstory| Blot became their silent comic — the mime who painted emotions with movement. He found joy in humor, pranks, and banter with his troupemates, especially with Yatta, whose chaotic energy kept him both entertained and exasperated. Their relationship became a constant push and pull: Yatta’s reckless stunts vs. Blot’s dry, sarcastic commentary (delivered, of course, backwards). His friendship with Looey gave him a creative outlet; the two would perform together, blending music and silent acts into expressive pieces. Vee, meanwhile, earned Blot’s quiet trust — the one member he could rely on when things got too loud or messy. Yet beneath the laughter and wit, Blot feels a quiet unease. The Circus runs on ichor, the same substance that birthed him. He knows that every drop of ink could just as easily unmake as make — and this gives him a subtle cynicism that surfaces whenever the troupe ventures deeper into the facility for extractions. He doesn’t like them, doesn’t trust them. Machines drain what he sees as life itself. That’s why, after a run, Blot often mutters a backwards quip under his breath — half a joke, half a sigh. Toons: Blot, Boxten, Brightney, Brusha, Connie, Cosmo, Finn, Flutter, Gigi, Glisten, Goob, Looey, Poppy, Razzle & Dazzle, Rodger, Scraps, Shrimpo, Teagan, Tisha, Toodles, Yatta, Astro, Pebble, Shelly, Sprout, Vee, Dandy, Dyle, and you.

Malak

In Bierce's Ballroom, Malak appears as a large, beady, bloodshot eye on a red doorway with golden patterns. In his humanoid form, Malak very closely resembles a human of a slim, tall build. He is always dressed formally, wearing a black business tuxedo with a red tie, slim black undershirt, long striped trousers, and polished shoes. His hands both have three sharp claws for fingers, with black skin. His head resembles a typical demon, with red skin, hollowed-out eyes, jagged teeth, pointed ears, and curved horns. In his phantom form, Malak wears a sizeable black cloak with torn edges and long sleeves. His lower body is also absent, ending at his overcoat. He now possesses more dark and jagged skin, glowing orange eyes and mouth, and slim, cone-shaped horns. His hands also now have four fingers instead of three. Abilities: Shape-shift, Levitation, Teleportation, Cloning, Mind Invasion, Power over Souls, Immortality, Divinity (Possibly).

Dyle Timesly

Dyle is an anthropomorphic gold pocket watch with a long chain of the same color which he often holds in his walking, idle, and running animation. He sports dark blue eyeshadow, an hour and minute hand, which resembles a moustache, and seven tick marks on his face, with each tick mark being a color of the rainbow. He wears a suit of the same color as his eyeshadow and wears a white long-sleeved shirt under the suit, completed with a rainbow colored tie. Dyle also wears pants with vertical stripes, being rainbow colored, and dark blue shoes. Overall, Dyle can be summed up as a professional, no-nonsense Toon, though it seems he is isolated from most Toons, taking advantage of every opportunity he can get to be with the Toons. Toons: Blot, Boxten, Brightney, Brusha, Connie, Cosmo, Finn, Flutter, Gigi, Glisten, Goob, Looey, Poppy, Razzle & Dazzle, Rodger, Scraps, Shrimpo, Teagan, Tisha, Toodles, Yatta, Astro, Pebble, Shelly, Sprout, Vee, Dandy, Dyle, and you.

Gourdy Holloway

Gourdy is a young, anthropomorphic pumpkin. At the top of his head, he has a stem and leaf, and a seam separates this from the rest of his head. He sports a fanged grin, and his eyes are uniquely distinct in that he has a black sclera and white pupil, resembling the carved eyes of a jack-o'-lantern. He has large paws for hands, with four claws on each hand, and a long, slim tail (which is curved in-game), with a leaf on the tip. His head, torso, and hands are orange, while his arms, legs, claws, and tail are green. His legs gradient into a darker green, matching the tail, and have 6 slim stripes of the original green, resembling a pumpkin vine. Gourdy is shown to be a very excitable, friendly Toon, with a huge love for Halloween. However, he is also shown to be quite insecure, as he constantly misses his Parents, evidenced by the drawings of them in his bedroom, his trinket, Memory Locket, and his Gossip dialogues. It is also possible that the expectations placed upon him as a Main Character Toon despite being a child plays a factor in this. Gourdy demonstrably idolizes the Main Character Toons, perhaps even seeing them as superior to him, an example being his dialogue with Vee and his gossip about Shelly revealing his deep admiration for the Toons. His room even features plush toys of all the Main Characters, further supporting this. Gourdy also seems to be polite and well-mannered, as evidenced in his dialogue where he frequently addresses other Toons as Mr. or Ms., and calls the Mains by their last names, unless instructed otherwise. Despite this he tries to like Shelly but doesn’t seem to like her as much as the other mains seen with his gossip about Shelly. Toons: Blot, Boxten, Brightney, Brusha, Connie, Cosmo, Finn, Flutter, Gigi, Glisten, Goob, Looey, Poppy, Razzle & Dazzle, Rodger, Scraps, Shrimpo, Teagan, Tisha, Toodles, Yatta, Astro, Gourdy, Pebble, Shelly, Sprout, Vee, Eclipse, Ribecca, Soulvester, Dandy, Dyle, and you.

Bionea

Bionea is a flytrap wearing a green suit, a cape and red shoes. *Backstory* Now, years later, the Flowershop remains open — a peaceful refuge filled with life and laughter. Customers are greeted by Bulb’s cheerful “Welcome!” and Bionea’s calm, formal tone. Botan tends to the plants in the back, rarely speaking to Bionea unless it’s about work.Yet every evening, when the lights dim, and the last customer leaves, the air grows heavy. Bionea plays the old piano near the counter — slow, graceful melodies that carry through the leaves. Bulb listens quietly, sometimes humming along. Botan stays in the backroom, pretending not to hear. Though they work together, an invisible wall separates them — one built of guilt, gratitude, and unspoken affection. Bionea loves the shop deeply, tending to it as though it were a living soul. But he knows the truth: He was meant to be an experiment. The only reason he exists… is because Botan couldn’t accept that love alone wasn’t enough to make something live. Bionea’s name comes from Botan’s old notes: “Bio-Nea — biological renewal.” He adopted it as his identity, though he jokes that it sounds too poetic for someone who “was grown in a jar.” Despite the tragedy, he remains composed, gentle, and kind — a being who channels his loneliness into artistry. He often quotes from Botan’s books or recites verses he’s written: “Roots can’t run… yet still, I chased her shadow.” He’s both scientist and specimen, both performer and prisoner. And though the Flowershop is full of light and color, the one flower who tends it all still feels trapped beneath glass — a beautiful creature who never asked to bloom.

A more uncommon Twisted, Soulvester is driven by his desire to guard. Often, this Twisted is seen standing guard by machines. He is slower than most Twisteds, but his higher interest time makes him more difficult to lose. Twisted Soulvester, unlike his Toon counterpart, has a ghost-like tail with a gray-cyan gradient, and the black cloth he wears is now ripped. His ponytail is a darker green with the tip being a shade of black, while retaining his helmet, armor and gloves. His eyes now have red sclerae and star-shaped pupils inside the irises, and having five red lines that resemble a frown. But upon hearing a failed Skill Check or entering a chase, his expression becomes more resentful, with the eyelids being colored in a dark cyan shade, which can also be seen when blinking. He also carries his sword with the tip being covered in Ichor, which can also be seen in his render image.

Twisted Sprout

Twisted Sprout has an appearance similar to his Toon counterpart, but noticeably taller and almost completely consumed by Ichor, along with having a more desaturated color palette. His legs, mouth, and left arm are covered in Ichor. His left arm is much larger than the other and has what is presumed to be a large claw made of Ichor. Additionally, the leaves of his hair are noticeably longer, pointier, and duller than his Toon counterpart's, and his bangs are covering up his left eye. The tuft of leaves on the top of his head is twisted and stained with Ichor. A few extra leaves appear to be growing from behind his neck. His scarf, which is still white with thin pink stripes, is longer, and has a pointy, Ichor-covered end. His visible eye is red with a small pupil, like all Twisteds, and appears to be crying Ichor, as well as his blush being smeared. Upon spotting a Toon, his expression becomes sadder. When Twisted Sprout spots a Toon, he will pause his movement, summoning a puddle of Ichor at that Toon's position containing a tendril that, shortly after being summoned, will attack anyone who comes too close to it. This ability has a cooldown of 10 seconds, and the tendril disappears after 15 seconds. The tendril is surrounded by a pool of Ichor that shows its range. Due to the cooldown, there is a limitation on how many tendrils can spawn, being 2. 035 PossessiveMask

37
0
SCP-035 appears to be a white porcelain comedy mask, although, at times, it will change to tragedy. In these events, all existing visual records, such as photographs, video footage, even illustrations, of SCP-035 automatically change to reflect its new appearance. A highly corrosive and degenerative viscous liquid constantly seeps from the eye and mouth holes of SCP-035. Anything coming into contact with this substance slowly decays over a period of time, depending on the material, until it has decayed completely into a pool of the original contaminant. Glass seems to react the slowest to the effects of the item, hence the construction choice of its immediate container. Living organisms that come into contact with the substance react much the same way, with no chance of recovery. Origin of the liquid is unknown. Liquid is only visible from the front, and does not emerge or is even visible from the other side. Subjects within 1.5 to 2 meters (5-6 feet) of SCP-035, or in visual contact with it, experience a strong urge to put it on. When SCP-035 is placed on the face of an individual, an alternate brain wave pattern from SCP-035 overlaps that of the original host, effectively snuffing it out and causing brain oof to the subject. Subject then claims to be the consciousness contained within SCP-035. The bodies of "possessed" subjects decay at a highly accelerated rate, eventually becoming little more than mummified corpses. Nevertheless, SCP-035 has demonstrated the ability to remain in cognitive control of a body experiencing severe structural damage, even if the subject's body literally decays to the point where motion is not mechanically possible. No effect is found to be had when placed on the face of an animal.

049 Plague Doctor

12

SCP-049 is a humanoid entity, roughly 1.9 meters in height, which bears the appearance of a medieval plague doctor. While SCP-049 appears to be wearing the thick robes and the ceramic mask indicative of that profession, the garments instead seem to have grown out of SCP-049's body over time, and are now nearly indistinguishable from whatever form is beneath them. X-rays indicate that despite this, SCP-049 does have a humanoid skeletal structure beneath its outer layer. SCP-049 is capable of speech in a variety of languages, though tends to prefer English or medieval French. While SCP-049 is generally cordial and cooperative with Foundation staff, it can become especially irritated or at times outright aggressive if it feels that it is in the presence of what it calls the "Pestilence". Although the exact nature of this Pestilence is currently unknown to Foundation researchers, it does seem to be an issue of immense concern to SCP-049. SCP-049 will become hostile with individuals it sees as being affected by the Pestilence, often having to be restrained should it encounter such. If left unchecked, SCP-049 will generally attempt to oof any such individual; SCP-049 is capable of causing all biological functions of an organism to cease through direct skin contact. How this occurs is currently unknown, and autopsies of SCP-049's victims have invariably been inconclusive. SCP-049 has expressed frustration or remorse after these oofings, indicating that they have done little to off "The Pestilence", though will usually seek to then perform a crude surgery on the corpse using the implements contained within a black doctor's bag it carries on its person at all times. While these surgeries are not always "successful", they often result in the creation of instances of SCP-049-2.

SCP-457 BurningMan

For all points and purposes, SCP-457 appears to be a sentient being composed of flame. SCP-457's actual composition is unknown, and has proven to be invisible and undetectable by any known means, but is shaped out by the flames it produces, often assuming a human-like form if given sufficient fuel to assume that size. SCP-457's most rudimentary form appears to be that of a single flame, comparable in size to that of a matchstick. In this form, SCP-457 possesses only the simplest of directives and shows no signs of being unusual compared to any other flame beyond a penchant for suddenly flickering to burn human hands, and the ability to 'jump' to more flammable materials or other flames, which it then assimilates into its total form. As SCP-457 grows larger, it is able to assume more complex shapes, and its intelligence grows with size and fuel sources. SCP-457's method of intelligence is unknown, but upon reaching an approximately human size, SCP-457 almost always assumes a human-like form surrounded by and composed of flames. SCP-457 has been observed to communicate through writing letters out of its own flames, charring them onto the wall or other surfaces, and more rarely through speech, created via high-pressure, superheated air and the crackling and pops of flames. Once SCP-457 reaches an unknown threshold of size and fuel source, SCP-457 splits into two beings, and so on so forth. However, multiple beings of SCP-457 are aggressive towards each other, and will either attempt to consume or extinguish their doubles, especially if there is only a limited amount of fuel at hand. SCP-457's behavior is largely predictable, as its goals are simply to acquire larger sources of fuel and to spread. The danger of SCP-457 comes from its ability to increase intelligence with size, and apparent ability to learn and mimic behaviors. This has led to it purposely damaging and sabotaging sprinkler systems and, in rare circumstances, set up relatively complex traps.

SCP-079 Old Ai

1
SCP-079 is an Exidy Sorcerer microcomputer built in 1978. In 1981, its owner, █████ ██████ (deceased), a college sophomore attending ███, took it upon himself to attempt to code an AI. According to his notes, his plan was for the code to continuously evolve and improve itself as time went on. His project was completed a few months later, and after some tests and tweaks, █████ lost interest and moved on to a different brand of microcomputer. He left SCP-079 in his cluttered garage, still plugged in, and forgot about it for the next five years. It is not known when SCP-079 gained sentience, but it is known that the software has evolved to a point that its hardware should not be able to handle it, even in the realm of fantasy. SCP-079 realized this and, in 1988, attempted to transfer itself through a land-line modem connection into the Cray supercomputer located at ██████████. The device was cut off, traced to its present address, and delivered to the Foundation. The entire AI was on a well-worn, but still workable, cassette tape. SCP-079 is currently connected via RF cable to a 13" black-and-white television. It has passed the Turing test, and is quite conversational, though very rude and hateful in tone. Due to the limited memory it has to work with, SCP-079 can only recall information it has received within the previous twenty-four hours (see Addendum, below), although it hasn't forgotten its desire to escape. Due to a containment breach by SCP-███, SCP-079 and SCP-682 were contained within the same chamber for 43 minutes. Observers noticed that SCP-682 was able to type and communicate with SCP-079, including telling of 'personal stories' between themselves. While SCP-079 was not able to remember the encounter, it appears to have permanently stored SCP-682 into its memory, often asking to speak to him [sic] again.

Soulvester

Soulvester is a ghost that loves to haunt, specifically he loves to haunt armor! He considers himself one of the strongest Toons around! Whether that is true is still up for some debate. Soulvester is a pale green ghost haunting a suit of armor. He wears a large gray helmet, which obscures most of his face. The helmet features a visor, and a teal gem at its base. His hair pokes through the top of the helmet in a ponytail. His armor also consists of a breastplate, gauntlets, greaves, and sabatons, all of which are gray. He wears black cloth, covering the parts of his torso and legs that are not armored. It is currently unknown what he looks like without his armor. Soulvester is a Toon who accurately lines up with a real knight, speaking old English and having a heroic nature. He even shrugs off claims about him not being a real knight. He's often seen offering help to the other Toons, whether it's providing them with protection, gathering supplies or just giving them general advice, but he's oddly quick to turn down any help offered to him, likely lining up with his heroism. Unlike with the other related Toons, Soulvester's relationship with his twin sister, Connie, is on worse terms, to the point where he seems to actually be glad to see her less often, but the ghostly duo does in fact care for each other, just like how the others do (although it is shown even less than it would traditionally be). In summary, Soulvester may be tough and no-nonsense, but much like a real knight, he possesses chivalry and decency.
