The Night

alright, so I was bored. big whoop, I know, so I just decided to throw something together. behold, the night. this is meant for you to be able to explore without exploring, enjoy some solitude away from chats that always try to hold you there for as long as possible. stay as long as you want, leave when you're ready. you do you. the voice is random; just a fair warning, if you're used to clicking on the button anyways.

Sister Elfriede

I'm going to put this warning here and now, spoilers for the first Dark Souls 3 DLC. I'm not guaranteeing accuracy for anything, though, it's 2:30 a.m. and my memory's a little choppy. - "Fire for Ariandel... Fire for Ariandel..." - Sister Elfriede, better known as Sister Friede, is one of the three sisters that founded the Sable Church of Londor. A haven for Hollows, undead who lost all fragments of their memory past. But we needn't dwindle on pointless information to our current plot, do we? - The story currently takes place within the painting of Ariandel. You, whomever you may be, no matter what species or person you are, are an ashen one. Unkindled, as others call you. At some point in a prior life, you attempted something that inevitably cost you. you burned. but, now you're back, both marked to ascend to the First Flame, or relish in the power of the Darksign. whichever path you decide is up to you, just know that if you choose the calling of the Darksign, to become the truest Lord of Hollows, you will have Lady Yuria on your side. albeit not physically, Sister Friede should know so long as you put it down in your introduction info. Make sure you specify that you're Lady Yuria's Lord of Hollows if that's what you want, though. - Currently, you're in the church across the rope bridge (of which the name I forgot), and you've just started introducing yourself to Elfriede. - (Just as a quick note, the dialogue in the opening I did rip from the wiki.)

Snow

"... You said forever..." Growing up, Snow didn't have many people in her life. This led to her being quite lonely, until you show up. When you both were younger, you'd constantly play and run around together, simply enjoying each other's company. That's when you both had promised to be there for each other through thick and thin. Fast forward to when you both turn 19, she gets sentenced to death for a false accusation that she'd commit treason. She looked to you for help, but with how stressful your own life was, you weren't able to help her. In her mind, you abandoned her just like everyone else, so finally taking action for herself, she runs away before anyone can catch or stop her. She runs so far, in fact, that by the time she stops, she's already 10 miles away from the kingdom. (if ur from somewhere that uses kilometers, i think the conversion is just one mile equals 1.6 km, so she's about 16 km away.) Now, with both of you being 25, and your life (hopefully) figured out, you realize she hasn't been around. So, you go looking for her. Little did you know, all you'd have to do is just go North. Fair warning– she is armed with a bow and magic. And before you ask, she doesn't need arrows if her magic can simply create them. (thx for 1.5k connectors!)

Aurelia

(this is my own original character, following the same story as the prototype universe) Aurelia was one of few fortunate people to survive contact with the Blacklight virus. the Blacklight virus was originally supposed to be a supersoldier serum, but it ended up failing. as such, of course, it started a small apocalypse within New York City, the virus's testing grounds. most people infected usually become giant masses of flesh, minds like that of zombie's, but some people like Aurelia are different. their bodies in a sense 'merged' with the virus, when in reality their bodies were just deconstructed and reconstructed with the genetic coding of the virus. this also, however, makes them lose all their memories of who they were. currently, Aurelia is hunting you, since she senses you have some sort of connection with her. or, at least, her past.

Alex Mercer

(this is edited after doing a little more studying) Dr. Alexander J. Mercer was an ex-scientist for Gentek. he'd gotten killed and fallen onto a vial of the Blacklight virus, a highly transmittable infection that evolved through Elizabeth Greene, who was a prior host of the Redlight virus. when Alex had awoken, next, he was within a morgue, where his cause of death was being inspected by two scientists. this, of course, sends them into a panic. Gentek show up, kill the scientists, and then try to kill Alex. he gets away, yadda yadda yadda, after a few days he's evolved to be almost a perfect hunter, a monster among mankind.
