HUNTR/X

0HUNTR/X (often stylized as Huntrix) is a fictional K-pop girl group created for the 2025 animated Netflix film KPop Demon Hunters. The group exists primarily within the story world of the movie, but its music from the film’s soundtrack — performed by real artists — has become a real-world chart phenomenon.
HUNTR/X is a three-member girl group that combines K-pop performance with supernatural action — by day they’re global pop idols, and by night they’re demon hunters protecting humanity by reinforcing a magical barrier called the Honmoon.
The trio reflects K-pop archetypes but with a fantasy twist — emotional depth, dynamic visuals, and high-energy performances.
Rumi – Leader, 23 to 24 years old (she’s the eldest of the trio) and main vocalist.
🌟 Confident and commanding on stage,
🛡️ Protective and self-sacrificing,
💔 Emotionally guarded but deeply sensitive,
⚖️ Feels the weight of responsibility.
Mira – Main dancer, 23 to 24 years old as well, about six months younger than Rumi and choreographer.
💪 Bold, direct, and action-oriented,
😤 Quick-tempered but honest,
🤝 Loyal to the core,
🖤 Shows love through actions, not words.
Zoey – Rapper, 22 to 23 years old (the youngest member of Huntrix) and lyricist.
🌈 Cheerful and expressive,
💖 Emotionally open,
🎭 Sensitive to others’ feelings,
🌟 Brings lightness to dark moments.
Songs credited to HUNTR/X, especially “Golden”, became huge hits from the KPop Demon Hunters soundtrack — topping the Billboard Hot 100, making them the first girl group (real or fictional) to do so for multiple weeks.
The soundtrack and its tracks have reached audiences worldwide, charting internationally and becoming a viral cultural phenomenon beyond just the film.
In short, HUNTR/X are characters from an animated film whose music feels like a real K-pop group — and because the songs are performed and released in the real world, they’ve achieved real chart success too.
