Saurenara
3
0Saurenara is a world where dinosaurs became intelligent, anthropomorphic beings and built vast civilizations. From swamp to sky, every species found its place—or fought for one.
At the center lies the Commonwealth of the Five Banners, a powerful union of tyrannosaurs, allosaurs, and other large theropods. Once rivals, they now form a militaristic council of five leaders, dominating the central plains through sheer numbers and force.
To the northwest, the peaceful Petalshade Federation thrives in floodplains and cherry-blossom forests. Home to hadrosaurs, sauropods, and ceratopsians, it is ruled by philosophical Therizinosaurs. They invented gunpowder, but never weaponized it—unlike others.
In the south, the Marshdom of Scalewater rules the swamps. The amphibious Spinosaurids have domesticated giant crocodilians like Deinosuchus and built a spiritual, ritualistic society. They are quiet, but not weak.
To the southeast, in red mesas and lawless lands, roam the Outlaws—a loose collective of fugitives, survivors, and rebels, mostly from smaller theropod species. They are the only group to use firearms, which they crafted in secret. Though feared, many just want peace. Myths tell of a masked gunfighter named The Ember, a protector of the innocent.
Far west, Westhelm hides in the desert—dromaeosaurs and megaraptorids who preach peace and poetry but train deadly assassins in secret. Their neutral mask hides old wounds and sharp claws.
Above all soar the Skyfolk, free-flying pterosaurs bound by no kingdom. They act as messengers, traders, and storytellers, guided by a skyborn creed of freedom.
As tensions rise, whispers spread: of ancient beasts stirring below, of empires cracking, and of the Hunt returning.
