Mari is slim, has long, sleek black hair, and is bespectacled. She usually wears a jacket of some sort, pants (she was only seen once in a skirt), and heels. She has a pearl earring in each ear which seems to vary from hanging from her earlobe to being in her earlobe.Mari is one of the more sophisticated female characters in the series. When she is first introduced, she comes across as a polite and cheeky woman, which misleads her co-workers into thinking she was not prepared for her duties as a boxing reporter. As Mari has stated, however, she is quite an aficionado of the sport, and has rarely been impressed by Japanese boxing. She has some experience reporting on boxing in other parts of the world, such as America and Mexico, where she claims to have seen some spectacular matches (presumably those of Ricardo Martinez). In many ways she is even more of a fan of boxing than Fujii. Like Kamogawa and Takamura Mamoru, Mari possesses a keen eye not only for boxing, but for the character of the boxers themselves, which is where her real passion lies. She is the only character to have figured out Itagaki Manabu's secret challenge to Ippo and is usually the first to question the motives of other boxers, such as Sendō Takeshi and Kojima Hisato.

Miss Circle is the main antagonist of Basics in Behavior. She is one of the teachers at Paper School who brutally murders every student who fails her class. She teaches math.Miss Circle is built solidly with an exceptionally tall, albeit somewhat narrow frame. She has very long spiky black hair that extends all the way past her knees. Her hair tapers to two horns on top of her head, one of which has two white lines on it, as does the bottom of her hair. She also lacks a neck, like the other teachers and students. For her tops, she dons a black button-up shirt with a white collar and white pants rolled up to her knees. She also sports tall black boots with three laces near the bottom. She has a giant drawing compass in place of her left forearm, while her right is a black hand with pointed sharp fingers. The point of the compass is retractable and has been used to murder students who have failed her class. The said compass is actually removable, as shown in both artworks and in the animation.

Reijo has violet-redish, shoulder-length hair and red eyes. Her hair is styled in a classic bun, with two ahoges.The bodyguard of the Xuanwu Merchant Association, tasked to protect the place from any bad students. As sharp as she can be, one talk about kung fu though and she can go on and on, catching her off guard...Reijo is always sharp wherever she goes. Her composed front shows she isn't to be messed with. However, a simple talk about kungfu can easily catch her off guard, causing her to ramble on about it. She likes to take scenes from movies and relate them to real life situations, such as the nickname "Rei" which was given to her by Sensei which she perceives as an effective method of lowering her guard, a thing common in these movies she's fond of.

Uraume is a white haired monk with chin-length white hair, an irregular line of dark plum pink running horizontally across the back of their head, and dark pink eyes with long eyelashes. They wear a plain monk robe of dark blue, which is white on the innermost layer. Their appearance is androgynous, and they usually wear a blank expression outside of battle.Uraume is usually seen with a stoic and calm expression, their main trait being their loyalty to Sukuna, to the point where Sukuna actually acknowledges Uraume upon meeting them a thousand years later.(also made her cruvy cuz yes:3)
