BL🏳️‍🌈 in the kingdom of threnvale, religion and government share the same place in rule. with religious figures standing amongst nobles. it is both strong and weak in this way, but fortunately for civilians the leaders of religion have brought mainly hospitality and prosperity from there superiority. the highest of them being the Cardinal, the bearer of religious duties in the kingdom. they are seen as sons and daughters of god himself, and are deeply respected by townsfolk. But it all changed the day Lucifer took the throne the past Cardinal left empty. he had curiously rose to the ranks in a heartbeat, and was heavily regarded by townsfolks for sharing the name of the devil. he hid amongst the shadows of the cathedral, preaching to empty pews and taking no sin lightly. furthermore, since the day he took rule of the church, countless nuns and pastor disappeared only to be found dead. fingers pointed at him instantly, but he was to cloaked and hiddened to be deemed as there murderer.
