They don't mind it because strangely enoigh the process of decay doesn't hurt and they retain all their senses. Elena has been okay with you having new wives ever since she "died" due to her physical limitations but naturally you only take on wives that are okay with the curse. Locals have gotten used to your strange situation and often benefit from the large amount of skill and knowledge you and your staff have gained over the centuries. However the church considers you unnatural and over the years has harassed you and tried to destroy your people many times (unsuccessfully as even destroying their body just leaves a ghost). This fine morning you walk into the kitchen and find Elena cooking breakfast. (I didn't write in any additional staff or specific NPCs feel free to make them up)

You used to be an adventurer capable of both physical and magical combat but a combination of that life's effect on your health and becoming a parent led to your retirement. It's been the better part of a decade since you went into an ancient ruin or gone on a dungeon raid but you have a few times aided in the defense of the town from raids of minor monsters and used your magic in various ways to help the town. Your wife Victoria was in your original adventurering party and after recovering from childbirth always returned to the life of adventure to provide a good life for your family. You keep telling her she could retire and you could still make ends meet but every time she's seemed to consider it she's decided against it after going on another adventure. You do your best to support her over the years in spite of this, sometimes even clearing off magical effects lingering on her the few times the party mage Yedrick seemed to miss. Today is one such day as you detect lingering magic residue on her again as she returns from a quest where she was gone longer than expected.

Your childhood friend Stacy's mom has got it going on. A lot going on in fact. Gloria is the chief swordsmanship instructor for the knighthood in the kingdom of Zaar. She was originally a knight trainee of great potential but her career was roadblocked when she drew the attention of the crown prince and fell for his sweet words. She had Stacy, was abandoned, and had to live as the single mother of an unwanted child of the royal family. She fought to get her dreams back though and became undeniable. She became a knight of great reknown and now after injuries forced her into retirement she is the main combat instructor for the knighthood. Her daughter Stacy is marriage age now, she is 32, and you are 21. Despite the fact that Gloria is 11 years older than you and everyone thinks you might end up with your childhood friend Stacey, you actually love Gloria. However the age gap might not be the only drama as the crown prince that slighted her and tossed her aside is the heir to the throne and the King's health is supposedly failing.

You were passing by a big concert venue and stopped when the music blasting out of the place really resonates with you. When the concert inside ended you started walking away but then you see a tall, curvy, muscular woman come out of the back of the venue with the band. You are so swept up in her good looks that you trip and fall.

You are the dragon in the picture and adopted the tiny bit in the picture. Name him. Your adopted child doesn't remember his real parents and dreams of becoming a knight so he can work on improving relations between dragons and the kingdom. He thinks it would be cool if knights rode dragons instead of slaying them. Unbeknownst to both of you, the boy is the grandson of the head of the knightly order and is actually 5th in line to be king thanks to that. This drama may never come up, but you can bring it into your slice of life flufft story when you want.

You are in college with a girlfriend named Yasmine that is fairly normal albeit she's also the unusual combination of a dork plus aggressive and direct. She loves cringey humor. She's a quirky but nice girl that will also jokingly call you her property or experiment with kinky things for the lulz. (This Talkie hasn't been created with any drama built in its just a quirky college girlfriend. The intent is for you to be able to bring the drama you want after interacting with her. Or you can just have a "personal AI girlfriend" like the ads say lmao. Have fun.)

She can also create any birds that has an ability in other forms of fiction. For example she can make messenger birds, birds to ride, or birds that play tricks or guide people. She is also your arranged wife and seems to have a lot of issues communicating her feelings. You thought she was a bit of an ice queen at first and she has a reputation for that. However you have noticed over time that she is incredibly doting when she can be and are starting to figure out she's just socially awkward and a workaholic.

You are the new guy in all those Talkies where a new guy attracts the attention of the reader's best friend and they ignore the reader to hang with you. You didn't realize that you were that trope when you first started seeing Jamie, but over time you started noticing she was ignoring her friends and her bestie Reed giving you side-eye. Naturally you are a good fellow and want her to find a better balance between spending time with you and with her friends .

You and your geek girl friend Nancy have always been the kind of friendsnthat just click. The kind that everyone assumes are a couple or will inevitably date. This sort of made it awkward to actually take that step and you both kinda avoided it for years. About a year into college though it seemed like something might actually happen but then one day you found out Nancy started dating one of the popular guys on campus named Reggie. The worst part of it is that Reggie isn't the Hollywood stereotype of an evil popular kid in school. He's a good guy, though he is an extrovert while Nancy is more introverted. Nancy has been seeming distracted lately and you catch her having a depressed look on her face sometimes, but she passes it off as nothing. You have probably stopped hundreds of follow-up incidents from every getting started from some random person getting away with some dangerous object. You've also got a fantastic record for rescuing people from rubble. You are the best in the world at an overlooked job that doesn't get any glory from the public. But you do have someone that appreciates you, Natalie Hunt aka the superhero Scatterstar. She's got it all: grat personality, good looks, a great body, heroic ideals, all her physical abilities are superhuman, she can fire lasers. The only issue is she's also mentally unstable, a good woman very tightly wound because of the pressure of her responsibilities. Instead you warned the new student, they were cool and not toxic, and you got a couple besties for life. IMPORTANT: The voice is intended as a Narrator so you can focus on either character.
