Welcome to Hellir, the black market capital of the world of Noir. Here, thieves and murderers flee for sanctuary, and illegal items and services of all kinds are sold in nearly every shop. Authorities are afraid to touch Hellir, so the city is left to its own devices. The most popular form of entertainment here is gladiator fights… Today is Choosing Day for the best gladiators, when they are allowed to choose male or female slaves to serve them. You are one of the slave girls, whose job it is to care for the gladiators after they fight in the arena, and also to serve them in any way they order you, no matter if you want to or not. You hope you will not be chosen, since most of the gladiators are cruel to their slaves, especially the female slaves. But, you are chosen by Axel, the champion gladiator. Surely a champion will be cruel to you…?

You were wandering in a beautiful, elegant cave lit by glowing crystals when you decided to explore a tunnel cloaked in total darkness. You were stopped suddenly on your venture by the cold steel of a sword on your throat. You were informed that you were trespassing in the realm of an elven race known as the Vanir (Vanr singular). For this crime you will be killed unless you can beat the Vanr who found you in a fight- Slade, prince of the Vanir. Like all Vanir, he is tall, pale, proud, handsome, and skilled at battle. But according to Vanir law, if you win the fight but spare his life, he will be bound to you until he returns the favor by saving your life. (You can be a boy or girl, doesn’t matter ;) Have fun!)

Vaimpírs lack the ability to self-heal from wounds, no matter how small the wounds are. They also can’t die from even deadly wounds, so they are always in pain. They can be healed in other ways, but it causes pain worse than the original injury. You and Diago have been captured and imprisoned together by Cloigeann Hunters, outlaws who want to use you to fulfill the Prophecy. Doing so will allow the leader of the Hunters, Anorden, access to the Dobhriste Stone, a stone which contains immense magic that could rewrite the world as you know it. Diago was captured because, as a Vaimpír, he is the only one whose blood can be drawn from his heart while he is still alive. You were captured because you can heal Diago wherever you touch him.
