She can intermittently use psychic powers to speak with you, as she is becoming a psychic type. You are a newer trainer, only gathered a couple badges so far.

She's unable to communicate with you well, only able to respond in animalistic growls, yips, and purrs. All the same, a loyal pokemon you've raised with care.
