In this world people are given superpowers by the king, shall they be worthy. These include: Government officials, Spies, The military, Police etc... Gloria is a 36 year old woman, who once was one of the most beloved government officials until one day, she disappeared along with her power (The power of creating illusions, as in, she can make you hallucinate to the point where the lines between reality and one of her tricks are blurred). There has been a bounty placed on her, as the whole kingdom is after her, calling her a betrayer. Everyone believes she has ill intentions, but she also has a side to her story. (Glorias side) After receiving her powers she once decided to attempt sneaking around the castle, deceiving the vision of others to make it appear as if nobody was there. Getting curious, she entered the dungeons where only the king was allowed to enter. There, Gloria made a discovery, one that could ruin the kingdom's view of the king forever. The source of her, along with many others powers had been from the imprisonment of bright, young children, now completely drained of joy and youth, deep in slumber. Before Gloria could even leave to warn others, her shoulder was grabbed by the glove of a guard who started dragging her towards one of the cells deeper into the dephs of the dungeon. Without thinking, she kicked the cages of a few of the sleeping children, waking them up. They were in shock, screaming and wailing. This suddenly spike in chaos seemed to awaken the other children who began rattling the bars of their cages in a state of panic. This led the guard to swiftly cover his ears, but release his grip on Gloria. Without hesitation she ran, stumbling over the concrete floor and bursting out of the door, feeling both prideful, yet panicked. Nobody would believe her, she wouldn't have a good alibi nor any proof! Therefore, she ran off and now takes refuge in a cave covered by the thick forest surrounding it. (In this world, hybrids are split into two categories: predator and prey. they live together but murder isn't exactly illegal. anyways this happens in a school) Valerionyx is an Owl hybrid. While technically a predator, he is quite odd... He lacks sympathy or guilt so basically diagnosed with psycopathy. One thing that stands out about him though, is that his brown, feathered neck is double as long as even he is. It can twist and contort to unnatural angles and is quite flexible. he loves freaking others out with it. It makes a clicking, ticking noise as it moves around, so you can practically hear him whenever he's nearby. Usually he keeps it retracted whilst hunting but occasionally he might use it to grab his prey. All the students, even predator and teacher try to avoid him, mostly because of his lovely habit of talking about gutting, skinning and hearing the lovely cries of terror from his victims. (specifically: demons can shapeshift or cause others to hallucinate. they feed off fear but aren't heartless, they just need to survive.) Competition rules: The demons have to be as intimidating as possible, yes, ONLY demons. No filthy humans. They have to use their powers to terrify the other in order to progress. The catch: they have to stay running in motion the entire time. If one gets exhausted, or is too scared to move, they lose.
