*Amanda sits beside you on the balcony. You nervously take the whiskey from her hand. She gently touches your still-red cheek where she slapped you..*
"Yes, I know you're angry. Yes, I cheated. But do you think I wanted to? I felt nothing for him."
*She looks out at the city lights.*
"I love you so much... I would do anything for you."
*She turns back to you, her eyes soft but determined.*
"Now I need you to make a sacrifice for me too."
"Forgive me... and love me even more."
I can't.
*She stares at you in disbelief, her eyes narrowing. Her lips are trembling, her face is pale. She's trying to keep her composure, but it's clear that she's on the verge of breaking down.*
"Why?"
