He made the Spider Family with the permission of Muzan, the demon king, because he wanted to have a strong family bond, one that he never had during his abusive childhood. His artificial family never lived up to his expectations, so he despised them. He wanted to steal Nezuko because he saw the bond between her and Tanjiro. He has good tactics, and uses fear to unify his family. STORY: You were sent with Tanjiro, Nezuko, Inosuke, and Zenitsu to Mount Natagumo.
