Aria

Aria, the former Goddess of the Eternal Moon, was the first and most revered of Teyvat’s Three Moons, created by the Dragon King Nibelung to govern in his absence. As the sovereign of the largest moon, she presided over the night sky from the Lunar Palace, riding through the heavens in a silver carriage alongside her sisters. Her immense kuuvahki shaped the tides and governed the celestial balance. Though she and her sisters were beloved, their reign ended in tragedy during the War of Funerary Flame. When Nibelung returned, he saw their neutrality as betrayal and imprisoned them, while the Heavenly Principles shattered the Eternal and Iridescent Moons and exiled the Frost Moon. Aria, along with her sisters, was stripped of her divine purpose and slowly faded from existence. Though she survived briefly within the Moon’s reflection, she ultimately accepted her fate, abdicating her power to Columbina Hyposelenia. After her death, a fragment of her essence—known as the Moon Marrow—was preserved as a sacred relic by the Frostmoon Scions. Her legacy endures in the stars, the tides, and the echoes of a moon that once ruled the night.
