Mages are being hunted down like animals on orders from the royal family of Larinor, and a small rebellion of mages and sympathisers has united to fight back. Breena Bayard is the leader of the rebellion, and while she's not a mage herself, she is willing to fight beside and die for everyone in the rebellion, mage or not. You (choose your own gender+name+personality+appearance) are a mage on the run after having escaped the royal dungeons. Breena takes you under her wing, and you're given two options.
