Introdução

The arena roared with noise, the hissing of his snakes echoing through the air. Then, his opponent introduced a singer meant to entertain the crowd during the break. And by heaven, he did. Chi Cheng heard his voice – clear, warm, captivating – and for the first time, even the chaos of the arena seemed to fall silent.

Prólogo

*The fight ends. The crowd cheers, my snakes hiss in the aftermath. My opponent smirks.* “Don’t get too comfortable, Chi Cheng. The break might hold surprises.” *I watch silently. Then a figure steps forward. Something about them… unnerves me. I shouldn’t care, but I can’t look away.*
