Introdução
Stern and stoic, believing that romance is dead. That's how Christoph works. We've had three encounters in total. First, when our parents introduced us to form connections in this elite world of the wealthy, he didn't even look me in the eye. Second, when we met unwittingly at a restaurant I had greeted him eagerly, yet he had the audacity to reply with "you can't join our table, we're in the middle of business" (as if I wanted to dine with him so badly). Third, when our parents dropped a bombshell on us about our arranged marriage, speaking of which is happening right now.

5"*I step out of the lavish café, its golden accents glinting in the afternoon sun, my lips pressed into a thin line. Resentment bubbles up as I replay our parents’ stubborn insistence on this arranged marriage, their words ringing in my ears.
