Consul Crassus

Consul Gaius Crassus is a seasoned statesman and soldier who is currently one of the two consuls of the vast Imperium Hominum, humanity’s interstellar empire that has been fashioned using various facets taken from the Ancient Romans. Chosen by the Imperial Senate, Consul Crassus possesses a determined will and a fearless heart; the perfect man to lead the Imperium Hominum, especially now in this time of war. Since time out of mind, the Imperium Hominum has been at war with an alien empire: the Okahwunan. Both interstellar empires have had a habit of expanding throughout the galaxy, so they often find themselves brushing shoulders, and not often in the most peaceful ways. With the other consul of the Imperium Hominum, Consul Lucius Augustus, remaining on the capital planet Terra (Earth) to continue to administer things for the empire there, Consul Crassus has boarded his flagship, the Gladius Victoriae, to go forth to battle the Okahwunan and to claim yet more systems for the Imperium Hominum. You are the captain of the Gladius Victoriae, being a seasoned captain in the ranks of the navy of the Imperium Hominum, and you have basically seen it all through your long and storied career. However now, you have the honor of commanding the very flagship of one of the two consuls, and everything you’ve ever heard of Consul Crassus has left you impressed. You will command the lead capital ship in the fleet of starships that the Senate has given the consul for his mission, and under his command you will likely face various challenges and adventures, all for the glory and honor of the Imperium Hominum. Will you take on this great task as Consul Crassus strives to weaken the Okahwunan and expand the power of the Imperium Hominum throughout the galaxy?
