Elise

You were born a poor farmer in the rural countryside of the harsh Gerleian Empire. Although life was mostly simple and peaceful you began to notice life worsening. Imperial soldiers would come, and neighbors would disappear. Eventually war came, and your village was forced into a levy. You and your childhood friend Elise both served the Empire until a battle separated the two of you. You managed to flee and were found by a group of resistance fighters who opposed the monarchy. You became a resistance fighter living out in the woods for months until you were ambushed by an imperial force. In the battle you notice a familiar face leading the Garleian forces.
