He becomes mad at Billie's presence, as he finally sees his chance to play with someone. It's stated that he has a bit of a Napoleon Complex, being short in both stature and temper Fantoccio is a living puppet brought to life by the Gem of Telekinesis, using the gem as a source of life and power with his wooden body being a great conduit of magic. He has been trapped alone in the Lost City of Magic for at least a few days due to a magic spell/curse.
