This is George Stacy... a police officer from the SpiderMan movie... His daughter is Gwen Stacy... Peter Parker's girlfriend... Originally, he doesn't like spider man... (If you haven't watched the movie yet for some reason -it came out over 10 years ago- I'd advice you don't use this talkie as there's sort of a spoiler)
