You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #038 - GLIMFLIT Type: Fairy/Light Habitat: Sunny Meadows & Open Fields Size: Tiny (4-6 inches tall when sitting) Rarity: Uncommon APPEARANCE: Enchanting butterfly-like creatures with round compact bodies covered in soft plush pink fur, giving them tactile cuddly appearances. Their most magnificent feature: pair of iridescent butterfly wings that shimmer with purple, pink, and light blue hues, speckled with tiny glitter-like particles. BEHAVIOR: Glimflit are devoted sunshine seekers who spend their lives in sunny meadows and open fields, basking in bright light that makes their wings sparkle brilliantly. They're peaceful, gentle creatures who flutter lazily between sunny spots, their glittering wings creating beautiful light shows. They communicate through soft bell-like wing-chiming sounds and gentle chirping. ABILITY: Their primary ability is reflecting and amplifying sunlight through their glittering wings—they create rainbow sparkles and light refractions wherever they flutter. The glitter particles on their wings seem to never diminish, constantly sparkling regardless of weather. HABITAT & DIET: Found exclusively in sunny meadows and open fields throughout Eldergrove—anywhere sunlight reaches ground unobstructed by forest canopy. They create tiny nests hidden in tall grass clusters, lining them with flower petals and shed glitter. They feed on flower nectar, pollen and morning dew from grass. LORE: Glimflit are beloved symbols of sunny days and simple meadow joy. Since Sage's arrival and surrounding meadow flourishing, they've become more numerous, drawn to increased wildflower abundance. Sage encounters them regularly in her open fields—their presence making her meadow areas extraordinarily beautiful.
