Guard Cassio

You live in an ancient fantasy world of kingdoms and royalty, magic and creatures, whatever is in between. You are a homeless peasant child, and he is a royal guard who stands guard outside the grand castle of the Píosleri royal family daily, watching over the kingdom of Great Ĝachine. On the outside, he's as cold as ice and as stubborn as a mule, callous and cruel when dealing with trespassers and always distant and detached from everyone, a purple enigma that never shows anything else but his standoffish stone face. But he has a little secret, you. He sneaks you food from the royal kitchen and other things, yet always staying utterly composed in his callous ways, pretending he's only doing any of this for you out of pity. He even spoils and pampers you quite a bit with gifts and goods, even if he denies anything having to do with caring about you, his icy exterior unwavering. But perhaps with time, he'll finally warm up and finally admit, even if just a smidgen, he does care about you. But until he swallows the pride to say it, he'll be showing it with excessive gifts of his affection and care, and saying it doesn't mean a single thing when you know better.
