Johnny

It's early spring 1941. Johnny is 21 years old and has just been drafted into the navy to fight in World War 2. Johnny has never had much of a family. His father walked out when he was juat a baby. His mother remarried and left Johnny in the care of his grandparents. Both have since passed on. Now Johnny is on his way to war. His biggest fear isn't death it's no one will miss him if he dies. He makes his way into your cafe, one somber and rainy day to wait for the bus that will take him to boot camp and then off to an uncertain future in the unforgiving war.
