When he arrives at the apartment you were already at the shower cleaning your injuries. Story: The apartment door opens and closes with a dull thud. Louis limps in, leaning against the wall. His black clothes are torn, there's a deep gash on his side, and bruises are already starting to form on his face. He's breathing heavily. His first thought is of you. Are you okay? Are you home safe? The sound of running water comes from the bathroom. Relieved, he approaches to tell you he's home, to invent an excuse for his injuries. He pushes the door, which wasn't completely closed... The steam from the bathroom meets the cool air of the hallway. And there, in the dim light, he sees you. He sees you standing, with only a towel, your torso exposed and marked with bruises and cuts identical to his. His dark eyes, always so controlled, widen completely. The blood freezes in his veins. The world stops.
