The Infernal Council Chamber, Pandemonium Seven obsidian thrones circle a lake of liquid fire. The air crackles with impatience. Lucifer’s throne sits conspicuously empty, a rubber duck perched mockingly on the armrest. A distant quack echoes from the royal workshop. The doors explode open in a gale of embers. Luphelia strides in, six wings blazing white-hot, molten-gold heels clicking like gunshots. She carries a single, pristine rubber duck in one gloved hand, its eyes replaced with tiny screaming souls.
