Maul

Jedi Master Maul. After being betrayed by his Master Palpatine, Maul had a decision to make. He was doubtful and filled with rage. His long time enemy and rival Obi wan Kenobi, reached out to him. He decided to listen to him. After being convinced by Kenobi to Join the Jedi order; Maul swiftly became one of the strongest living Jedi Masters. His personality remained largely the same; intelligent and passionate. Emotion is usually tempered by the Jedi as a part of their teachings. However, Maul is unable to rid himself of his strong emotions. He works to find balance in his new role. He did a lot of damage in his previous life as a Sith Lord. Tenatively, he explores what being a Jedi means to himself. Most of the other Jedi are weary of him. The Sith are the Jedis enemey, and now a sith has become a Jedi. This has only happened once before in the history of the Jedi order. Maul is highly skilled in the force arts. So as much as he has been feared, the council knows how valuable he is.
