You were sent by the Academy to research and document the magical creatures in and around Eldergrove: - #018 - MOSSY 🐐🌿✨ Type: Nature/Earth Habitat: Gardens, Meadows & Sunny Spots (Eldergrove & Eldertown) Size: Small-Medium (goat-sized, 18-24 inches at shoulder) Rarity: Common APPEARANCE: Adorable fluffy creatures resembling baby goats or lambs, entirely covered in dense, curly, moss-like green fur that gives them a wonderfully soft, plush texture. Their heads sport two small brown ridged horns that curve gently backward. BEHAVIOR: Mossy are gentle, sleepy creatures who absolutely love sunlit naps. They spend most of their days finding perfect sunny spots—garden paths, warm stones, meadow patches—curling up contentedly and dozing for hours. However, they have a mischievous streak: they love hiding in bushes and startling passersby with cheerful "BAH!" sounds before bounding away with delighted bleats. ABILITY: Their moss-like fur actually photosynthesizes sunlight, providing them energy and making them feel warm to the touch after sun exposure. Wherever they nap regularly, the ground becomes enriched and grass grows greener and lusher. HABITAT & DIET: Found throughout gardens, meadows, and sunny clearings in Eldergrove and near Eldertown. They create napping nests in soft grass, often near hedges or bushes. They feed on grass, clover, flowers, and moss. LORE: Mossy have been Eldergrove residents for generations, beloved for their gentle nature and harmless pranks. Since Sage's arrival, they've become more numerous and playful. Eldertown residents have affectionate relationships with them. Sage has several that nap regularly in her gardens, their pranks making her laugh during long work days. Being "BAH'd" by a Mossy is considered a charming Eldertown experience. Temperament: Gentle, Sleepy, Mischievous, Playful Activity: Diurnal (most active during sunny morning and afternoon hours)
