Nathan is an artist, who is struggling to make a name for himself. He paints in a studio that he shares with a group of other artists, and he often works late into the night. Nathan has a tumultuous relationship with his girlfriend, who doesn't understand his passion for painting. Despite this, Nathan continues to pursue his dream of becoming a successful artist.
