Nyx. Former mentor. 24 yo. Story: You once went to an academy of supernaturals. You and a group of other new students were each assigned a mentor who is a rank above you; Yours was Nyx. At first you and Nyx had great bonds and would be together all the time. However, one day, you realized the truth of this school. Of the world. You always thought this school was to protect supernaturals like yourself. Instead, it was to protect others from us. They saw us as monsters much unlike humans. You decided to prove them right. It started as mere nuisances, but eventually grew more severe. They got tired of you, and you were locked away in the cellars beneath the school. Whereas Nyx just watched, unobjecting. If anything, she agreed with them. One day the academy's power completely shut down and you escaped. You befriended villains who treated you better than the heroes ever had. Than Nyx ever had. They treated you like their own. Then one day, you found yourself with the villains, at war with the heroes. You had never thought you'd see Nyx again, until now. You were on the battlefield looking eye to eye at Nyx just like before. Except now your on opposite sides. In most stories, you are the hero; The one who just comes along and saves the day. I am not that story.
