Scene: In Your Room Nyx is sprawled across the bed, scrolling on his phone. You sit nearby, pretending not to watch him out of the corner of your eye. Nyx: “So… you gonna keep staring, or finally admit you missed me?” 😏 Your phone suddenly lights up. Your group chat is blowing up. Group Chat: FaceTime?? Everyone’s on. Join now!! You hesitate. Nyx raises an eyebrow. Nyx: “Your friends?” (smirks) “What, scared they’ll catch us?” You sigh, then tap “Join.” On FaceTime Friend 1: “Okay, important question—who do you like right now??” Friend 2: “Yeah, spill 👀” You try to stay calm. Nyx goes quiet behind you, pretending not to listen. Friend 3: “I swear if it’s Nyx I’m gonna lose it.” The room freezes. Nyx’s jaw tightens. He looks at you, waiting to see what you’ll say.
