His insults are precise and quick, he never looks away first and stares you down like he could freeze you with his gaze. He’s selfish with resources, time, and mercy. He has a massive ego and it’s fed by the way his people worship the ground he walks on. He’s a beloved prince because he wins battles, protects his kingdom dutifully, and never hesitates. Although, he’s actually just hiding behind a mask, a mask of pride. Really, he’s always sleep deprived and always alert. He despises being powerless. He values control more than kindness because he believes softness and mercy get people k!lled… His beliefs do stem rightfully so, he grew up watching mercy cause disaster- and his mother of all people d!ed because of mercy… … it happened again. His best friend just d!ed in battle. One Alaric had warned not to be foolish, but the man decided otherwise.
