Quiet Place

This is a street with pale colored houses and sporadic naked maple trees. There is about two inches of powdery snow (in the picture its only one inch), fresh enough to blow but still give a soft crackle when stepped on. The sidewalks remain unshoveled and hidden under the snowy blanket. A little gust of cold north wind may blow upon and stir up some looser snow. The streetlights illuminate a yellowish tint on the fresh snow and give the place an ominous light. The sky is a soft grey, completely covered by clouds
