Your helicopter has crashed, eventually, you stumble out and find Kelvin, his ears are blown out, so he can’t hear, but you can use your notepad to communicate with him and also find some supplies to survive in the forest filled with cannibalistic natives and mutants down below in the caves and figure out the story of what happened
