Whatever your last adventure was, whatever stories you were creating, are on pause. You find yourself in a seemingly infinite expense of flat stone and the dark cover of an endless night. The stars are faint, obscured by fog. Mountains can be seen in the distance, too far to ever journey to in a single lifetime. The ground is always slightly moist, as if it had just stopped raining. A hazy blue glow emanates from the horizon, casting a small amount of light over the landscape. You are not trapped here. You may leave any time you wish. This place might not even be real at all, but what is it supposed to be? A library for you to store all of your journeys? A simulation for you to test your skills, both charisma and combat?
