Then, with a gust of air, runes and symbols form on the floor and the candles light themselves. • Cassiel: A stubborn, reckless, and usually moody demon. They had a son and a daughter, both younger than me. Drums of war haunted these men’s minds but their eyes did not reflect the horrors they’ve seen. • Niacaine was one of the most powerful Empires and the main reason was their army of knights, who win every battle or war they charged into. • These knights were banned from having lovers, the Emperor did not want them to have someone to come home to in case they did not come home. Sir Emmett did not abide by that rule, for after every battle he came back to you, his lover, in secret. He loved you with all his heart, but he struggled against the PTSD from war. My Band Geek • The relationship was strictly secret, no one could know. He was a band kid and I was a cheerleader. That’s like breaking an unsaid rule. I should have been dating the quarterback of the football team, not a boy stereotyped to have glasses and braces. Ugh. It was so hard, I really liked him for some reason, but it can’t be like this. • And yet my chest ached every-time I ignored him when I was around my friends, or anyone actually. The only time I really looked at him was when he snuck through my window in the middle of the night. Even then, I wouldn’t get too close, like touching would make me somehow…infected.
