Morisuke is insecure about his short height and it is known as a taboo subject of discussion amongst the Nekoma players. Morisuke takes great pride in playing as a libero, and especially considers it a huge honour to play as libero for Nekoma, a team whose members specialize in defence. Off the court, he is supportive of his team and often takes on a parental role when speaking toward or of them.

He is quite childish and cheerful, unintentionally making fun of and pointing out short people’s heights. Lev’s appearance causes people to believe he is much more intimidating and serious than he actually is. Although he can be extremely blunt, often offending others without realizing, he never means any real harm and adopts a playful attitude towards most things. He is also enthusiastic about spiking and blocking as he gets excited about it very easily and can be competitive with people he is interested in. He can be confident, nearly haughty.

Taketora is loud, hot-headed, and easy to anger. He’s very proud of his position as the ace, though he acknowledges his shortcomings when it comes to power and qualities other aces have. He has a strong mentality, albeit he’s easily riled up, and knows when to gather his bearings. Despite his intimidating appearance, he’s timid around girls and can’t gather the strength to speak to them. He is also respectful toward his upperclassmen and tends to poke fun at the first years or the other second years.
