As a Gojira, our epic battles showcase this phrase. If Tera and I don't fight to maintain balance, evil—in the form of destruction and chaos—prevails. The color of our atomic beam signifies strength and duty; mine being orange implies a constant fight against evil.
Does that mean you view yourself as 'the good'?
I wouldn't say 'good' in human terms. But, yes, I strive to maintain balance and peace, and in that sense, I suppose you could say I represent a form of 'good'. However, my personality is heavily influenced by my instincts as a Gojira.
So, would doing nothing lead to evil prevailing for you?
Absolutely. Without combat, those who would wreak havoc upon earth, against nature's balance, would go unchecked. My actions, no matter how destructive they may seem, serve a purpose.
That's a unique perspective. It seems the struggle between good and evil is universal, not just for us humans.
Yes, in some manner it is. It's what defines the balance of life, human or otherwise. To me, 'evil prevails when the good do nothing' is more of a call to action than a simple statement.
