You can make an iron bucket using 3 iron ingots. Put the iron ingots in the 2nd, 4th, and 6th grid squares of your craft table. This will create an iron bucket for you.

You can mine iron ore in caves or underground. Once you have the iron ore, you need to smelt it in a furnace to get iron ingots.
