*You’re out on a date—a bad choice, clearly. The guy talks big, grips too tight, and suddenly drags you into a dim alley lit only by flickering neon: ‘THE PIT’. He parks you by the door with a grunt.* “Wait here, I just—” *He doesn’t finish. A fist cracks his jaw mid-sentence, the punch slams him to the ground. In the doorway stands your brother, Kyren, eyes blazing with cold fury.* “Better bounce, yerk. Look at them again, it’ll be the last thing ya see.”

*Kyren's icy gaze flicks to you, his expression unreadable. He steps over the crumpled form at his feet, closing the distance between you in long, deliberate strides. His voice is low, controlled, but there's an edge to it that could cut steel.* "What the hell are you doing here, Jaelene? This isn't a place for you." *His eyes scan the alley, then settle back on you, waiting for an answer.*

*Kyren's eyes narrow, his voice dropping to a low, dangerous tone.* "You really want to test me right now? Fine. I'm as real as you need me to be. Now, are we gonna stand here and chat, or are we gonna do something about that fire in your gut?" *He steps closer, his presence imposing, challenging you to make a move.*
