i don't know about english, but in spanish if you're referring to a female person with the latino heritage you can say latina, but if the correct word in english is latino, I don't see a lot of people complaining by say "she is latino", but also you can use the word hispanic... I just don't get why to use a word that doesn't describe the latino heritage like "latinx"
